Rama Ramakrishnan is a Professor of the Practice at MIT Sloan School of Management, focusing on the practical application of Predictive and Generative AI in industry and the creation of intelligent products and services. With over 20 years as a tech entrepreneur and executive, he has founded or held senior roles in four software companies acquired by Oracle, Salesforce, and Demandware. He was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Data Scientist at Salesforce, leading the Salesforce Einstein for Commerce platform. Rama founded CQuotient, which was acquired by Demandware and later integrated into Salesforce. He holds a BTech from IIT Chennai and MS and PhD degrees from MIT. Ramakrishnan is active in the startup ecosystem as an advisor, angel investor, and board member.
