Dr. Prith Banerjee is the Chief Technology Officer of Ansys, where he leads the company’s technological evolution and champions innovation and growth. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Schneider Electric, Managing Director of Global Technology R&D at Accenture, and held senior roles at ABB and HP. He was also Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago and held academic positions at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois. Banerjee founded AccelChip and BINACHIP and has authored over 350 research papers. He is a Fellow of AAAS, ACM, and IEEE, and has received numerous awards, including the IEEE Taylor Booth Award and the NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana. Banerjee is also the author of “INNOVATION FACTORY” and runs a YouTube channel on innovation.
